They are in a weak division. They have a decent team this year. The Chicago Cubs are in their division. So are the Milwaukee Brewers. I still think they can win the division and have a good run in the playoffs like in 2006.
Illinois Fighting Illini (basketball)
The Illini had a not so good season this year. They play a lot of close games. They would get a half-time lead but then lose it late in the second half. They entered the Big Ten Tournament as a #10 seed. They beat #7 seed Penn State. Then they pulled off a huge upset by beating #2 Purdue in the next round. This was the farthest a #10 seed has ever gotten. In that same round Minnesota upset Indiana with a last second shot. So Illinois beat Minnesota in the next round in an easier game. The next round they had to face #1 seed Wisconsin. Illini ended up losing but had a great run in the tourney.
